Melanie WALLIS-EDMONDS - Principal

Melanie Wallis-Edmonds

Mrs. Wallis-Edmonds is a graduate of Nicholls State University  where she received her degree in Elementary Education as well her M. Ed. in Administration and Supervision.  Mrs. Wallis-Edmonds is currently working towards her Docotorate in Educational Leaderships at Southeastern University.  She has also earned her certification with the National Institute for School Leadership (NISL).  

Mrs. Wallis-Edmonds has previously taught Elysian Fields Middle School where she served as a Teacher, Master Teacher and later returned as Principal.  She has also been Assistant Principal at Schriever Elementary.  Before becoming Principal at our beloved Honduras Elementary, Mrs. Wallis-Edmonds served as Principal at East Houma Elementary.  

Mrs. Wallis Edmonds is a proud parent of a beautiful baby girl, Noelle.

Sue LeBoeuf - Assistant Principal

Sue LeBoeuf

Mrs. Sue LeBoeuf is a graduate of Nicholls with a degree in elementary education and a MBA in Educational Technology, Educational Technology Facilitator, Educational Leader.  

Before coming to Honduras as the Assistant Principal, Mrs. LeBoeuf previously taught at Southdown Elementary (4th grade), Grand Caillou Elementary (1st and 2nd grade), and Schriever   (3rd grade).  

 

Mrs. LeBoeuf is the mother of 3 children. Her goal is to support a vision that encompasses success for all in an enviornment conducive to learning.  while fostering leadership in others both students and teachers alike.

Ashley Wininger - Instructional Coach

Ashley Wininger

Mrs. Ashley Wininger is the Instructional Coach for  Honduras Elementary.  Mrs. Wininger received her undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans and her M. Ed. from Nicholls .  She is certified in Early Childhood Education and is a K-12 Literacy Specialist.  

Mrs. Wininger has been teaching for 14 years and is the mother of 2 young boys.  Before coming to Honduras she previously taught at Schriever Elementary (K) and Grand Caillou Elementary (2nd and 3rd) then at East Houma Elementary where she was a Literacy Specialist with the SRCL Grant and an Interventionist.
