Cindy Galinsky

Ms. Cindy Galinsky - 

Ms. Galinsky has been teaching for 16 years.  She is a native of Houma and grew up in Lafayette.  She studied at at the University of Southwest Louisiana, Southeastern University as well as Auburn. 



Janine Chauvin -

I am a native of Thibodaux. I attended Nicholls State University for my bachelors degree in Business Administration and later returned for my teaching certificate in Elementary Education. This is my 15th year of teaching, and my second year at HES. I enjoy spending time with my friends, family, and my three fur babies. My favorite football team is the 49ers. 


Kiwanis Terrific Kids

A student from each homeroom is selected to represent their class as the “Terrific Kid”.  These students display the following characteristics thoughtful, enthusiastic, respectful, responsible, influential, friendly, impeccable, and caring.   Students are recognized by the Kiwanis Club of Houma at a special awards program held at school at the end of each nine weeks.
